"Ban the Bottle?: A Debate Bubbles Over Bottled Water"
Do you think bottled water should be banned or not? Explain with several reasons why or why not. Do you have any other suggestions about how to deal with the plastic water bottle waste problem?
I think bottled water should be banned. 86% of water bottles land in garbage dumps and it takes years to decompose. Also it takes about 1.5 million barrels of oil a year to make the bottles. I think people should start using stainless steel metal bottles and filling them up at home.
I say stop using water bottles because it is hurting the planet and we are trying to prevent that from happening. Also like the polar bears hurting the earth is causing the Artic ice not to harden enough so lots if the cute little guys like the cub are dying of hunger. Yes i agree Curtis we should start using waterbottles more and stop producing plastic bottles. So Save The Earth and stop making plastic bottles!!!!

I think that we should stop using bottles of water because it hurts are eath and for example the polarbears are going exstinct because of that and other things. And it soon will not just afect animals but it will start to hurt us too! So i agree with Curtis and Becky we cant keep using bottles we need to use waterbottles. So we can SAVE ARE EARTH AND STOP MAKING PLASTIC BOTTLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think we shouldn't stop having bottled water, because if we stop it then people will get thirsty a lot more, and lots of restraunts where you order at the counter have them. And I think we should start warning people about it like on tv,or in the news paper but keep using them.

i think bottled water should be banned because as Savannah said this situation might start to affect the earth, animals, and even us! i am also worried that this might not help our global warming problem. however, if people start to reuse the bottles it will be much better for the environment.

I think small bottles of water, like what you usually see, should be banned. Large bottles of water should not be banned because those really come in handy on trips and stuff. I like the law idea and I think that the rule should be, if you are going to buy big bottles of water, you have to promise to recycle it.

I think people should not ban the water bottle because people should think that plastic is recyclable. you can recycle plastic and the people that don't recycle plastic water bottles are stupid like they don't know how to recycle but of course babies can't recycle. You can reuse water bottles because they are plastic.

I think people should really start useing tap water and buying a reuseable water bottles. You could also use a plastic water bottle and refill it when you're done.
