  2. It Makes me want to recycle more and not use plastic bag instead use reuseable bags so that some bags and other kinds of recyclable thigs wont be there in the oceans!

  3. it makes me want to do something about this. i might want to walk around my neighbor hood and pick up trash so that it won't end up in the ocean and kill marine animals.

    1. 10 percent of 260 million tons of plastic go in the Ocean.
    2. A Pacific Ocean trash dump is twice the size of Texas is this summer's hot destination for explorers.
    3.Plastic breaks and saturates the water and becomes a toxic part of marine ecosystem.

  8. An action this article makes me want to take is recycle more. A question I still have is how did the trash heap get twice as big as texas. I also think this is bad because it hurts every thing in the water. Not only is it killing innocent animals, we are effecting everyone in the world who eats stuff!!!!!

  10. Action i want to take: Research a lot more and donate lots of money to helping pick up the trash. Have this as one of my mottos Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!!!!! I am about to look up trash heaps in the ocean. I also just searched it in google images and saw some devastating photos.

    Kylie i think MAYBE it's cos there is just too much stuff to ever pick up.

  11. Yes I agree Ethan it definitely seems like some people don't care thal they're doing this to all the poor little fishies! :( It's completely awful!!!! It makes me want to do something like find a fund to help and donate to it!This is horrible!!!

I think people sort of want to help but the don't make the effort to go out side and pick up some trash, or they do go out and pick up some trash, or they don't care about the ocean getting polluted and animals dieing so the are crazy!!! I think all of us should go out and pick up some trash, because every bit helps!!!
